The time has come to give you a glimpse into La Notte Eterna's production! We’re officially in full production mode, and we're beyond thrilled to share some behind-the-scenes magic. Check out the video below to see prototypes, miniatures, maps, books, and more—all crafted to bring this project to life just as we envisioned.
In our last update, we mentioned everything would be produced in Italy, but to ensure the highest possible quality for the core books and GM screens, we’ve partnered with an experienced printer in China. This guarantees you’ll receive the premium materials you deserve. So, come the end of December/January, a container loaded with treasures from La Notte Eterna will set sail from China, headed to our fulfillment center in the Netherlands. Once it clears customs, we’ll start shipping directly to your door, with an expected arrival between February and March 2025.
Yes, it’s been a long road. Please, allow us to repeat this once again: as this is our first Kickstarter, we’ve learned valuable lessons about the timeline and fulfillment of a campaign like this. Rest assured, we’re applying everything we've learned to our future projects to avoid similar delays. In the meantime, we’re pulling out all stops to ensure the wait is worth it, including adding extra goodies to your rewards as a thank-you for your patience and support.
To keep shipping costs as low as possible, we’ve held off on calculating these until now. When the shipment arrives in the Netherlands (estimated January 2025), we’ll ask you to complete the shipping payment on Backerkit. We’ve postponed this to ensure you’re getting the fairest rate based on real-time costs.
Now is the perfect time to check your Backerkit survey and make sure everything’s in order. Verify your shipping address, double-check that your rewards are correct, and add any extras if you haven’t already. Remember, once orders and addresses are locked, we won’t be able to make any changes. We want to make sure your rewards find their way to you without a hitch!
With everything now underway, we’ll be marking this project as "fulfilled" on Kickstarter soon. This allows us to start working on our next adventure—yes, we have some exciting new projects in the works, and we can’t wait to share them with you! Stay tuned!

Exciting news from the dark world of La Notte Eterna! We’re thrilled to share that the production of your Kickstarter rewards has officially begun! The presses are rolling, the minis are coming to life, and soon the dice will be tumbling their way to your tables.
We’ve been hard at work, listening to your feedback and every typo we could find in the rulebooks has been hunted down and fixed.

Very soon, we’ll start sharing photos and videos of the books being printed, the minis being crafted, and all the goodies coming together.
In just a few weeks, we’ll be declaring this project fulfilled on Kickstarter, which means we’ll be gearing up to launch our next big adventure, while still finalizing the production and shipping of your rewards.
As soon as the boxes reach our freight forwarder, we’ll lock pre-orders and close the pre-order store on Backerkit. This is expected to happen around the end of December/January.
At that same time, we’ll be asking all backers to complete the payment on Backerkit, including the shipping fees.

We hope you're staying cool this summer and enjoying your adventures in La Notte Eterna with good friends. With hundreds of pages of game material, you're finally equipped to launch campaigns of any scale. The adventure modules and The Star Gazer will add countless hours of fun to your gaming table. Whether you’re running a quick one-shot or an epic saga, there’s enough content here to fuel your campaign for ages.
We'll spend the rest of August making final tweaks and corrections. We urge you to report any typos or issues you discover and share your feedback. There's still time for last-minute fixes.
Though it saddens us to find typos at this stage, with nearly 1,500 pages of content in both Italian and English, some errors are inevitable. They are proof that our texts were crafted by human hands, not AI. Every proofreading was carried out by professional editors.
We've poured our hearts (and livers) into this project. Jason (the author of La Notte Eterna) wakes up at night screaming from nightmares.
Once the final revisions are complete, we'll move to manufacturing (September 2024) and then shipping (January/February 2025), bringing La Notte Eterna straight to your doorstep. We'll keep you updated on production and delivery status here on Kickstarter and through our other channels.
Last Call for Surveys: This is most likely your final warning, adventurers! If you made a pledge on Kickstarter, you MUST complete the Backerkit survey to receive your rewards, both physical and digital. This is also your last chance to finalize any outstanding payments for your selected rewards. Unpaid pledges will be removed from the system in the coming days to ensure an accurate count for production. We will NOT reach out to every single backer with unresolved payments or unallocated funds/credits on Backerkit.
Check Your Details: Please, please, please make sure you have entered the correct name and shipping address on Backerkit. We cannot be held responsible for missed deliveries due to incorrect information on the survey.
Shipping Costs: Backers will need to cover the shipping fees, which is standard for most crowdfunding campaigns. More details are available on our Kickstarter page. Once all physical rewards are ready, we'll calculate the actual shipping costs as provided by our fulfillment partner, Games Quest. You'll receive a notification to return to Backerkit and complete the payment.
Project Fulfillment: Manufacturing will begin in September. We will keep you updated on the progress, hopefully with lots of sneak peeks!
To make up for the long wait, we have taken the following actions: the unlocked stretch goals "College of Deep Arcana" and "The Dark Church of Tenebris," initially planned as additional pages for the Corebook of La Notte Eterna, have been transformed into two complete adventure modules. Each module includes battlemaps, new characters, monsters, and magic items. Additionally, we are offering the STL file for the miniature of Efesta, the fearsome witch of Darkheart from one of The Star Gazer Deluxe issues. These have been delivered for free to all backers!
A Bitter Note for Our High-Tier Backers: Unfortunately, we will not be able to produce the wooden box as promised. What seemed like a nice and easy addition turned into a liability that would delay production and fulfillment. We won't go into the details, but know that we are extremely sorry for this broken promise. We have decided to replace the wooden box with an additional set of dice and the printed miniature of Efesta. We are ready to receive your rightful complaints, but we want to work with you to find a suitable solution and an adequate replacement reward. The dice and miniature have a higher commercial value and greater utility at the gaming table. We believe many backers might even prefer this replacement. However, please write to us to let us know your thoughts.
The Most Important Point of All: Our heartfelt thanks. Without your help, La Notte Eterna would never have seen the light of day. This was our first Kickstarter, and we've learned so much along the way. As many creators will tell you, there's no manual for launching a Kickstarter campaign. There are no guarantees, and the expenses before and after the launch are huge. And the pressure and workload can really take a toll on your mental health. That's why we held on tight to every word of encouragement and enthusiasm for our project. To those backers especially, thank you.
After much effort and an exciting Kickstarter journey, we're finally nearing the finish line. We're confident that our future Kickstarter projects will go much more smoothly and that future fulfillments will be quicker. We hope that despite the wait and our hiccups (which we've always tried to resolve in the best way possible for our backers), you'll be curious to check out our future offers and consider supporting us again. And to be honest, we're so excited about our upcoming projects and can't wait to share them with you!

Can you smell that? The scent of fried brains is in the air! And those eerie sounds of hysterical laughter? They’re coming from our art department, and let me tell you, they’re not looking too good.
Our beloved CEO wields the whip with the finesse of a goblin champion, occasionally tossing us pizza slices and coffee through a tiny door hole. It might seem brutal, but results are what matter!

We’re swiftly approaching the end of the editing phase.
Once editing is complete, we move to printing! Producing the books and various goodies will take about 2-3 months, depending on our suppliers' workload.
Before printing, we’ll close the pre-order phase and shut down the pre-order store on Backerkit. When everything is ready for physical distribution, we’ll ask backers to reconfirm their shipping addresses on Backerkit.
No worries—each step will be loudly announced across all our communication channels. Meanwhile, please double-check your shipping addresses on Backerkit to ensure everything is correct. We’ll remind you often.
If the stars align, we hope you’ll get La Notte Eterna for the holiday season this year. The mere thought brings tears to our eyes… Fingers crossed, friends!
Before we sign off, we want to give a special shout-out to our dear friend Kevin, who sadly passed away recently. Our thoughts have been with him and his family during this time, and we felt it only right to dedicate the third main rulebook of La Notte Eterna, The Song of Nebvarasa, to him.
Kevin was La Notte Eterna's ambassador in the United States and ran thrilling live game sessions on Twitch. He joined our project and our lives just before the Kickstarter launch. His passion and understanding of La Notte Eterna made him a valuable ally and supporter from the start.
We dreamed of traveling to America and attending various conventions with him, spreading La Notte Eterna far and wide. Fate has cruelly taken that dream from us, but we won’t forget the promises made. We will work hard to move forward with our project and seize every opportunity to celebrate our friend’s memory.
